Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp of salt
1 egg
1/2 cup of melted butter or vegetable oil/canola oil
1/2 cup of sour cream or plain yogurt
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips
You can also add up:
1 cup of mashed ripe banana (for banana chocolate chip muffin)
or
1 cup of berries (for any-berry chocolate chip muffin)
Method:
1. In a large bowl, combine flour + baking powder + baking soda + salt + sugar.
2. In another bowl, combine egg + melted butter + sour cream + vanilla extract.
3. Mix both (dry & wet ingredients) until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips (and bananas or berries).
3. Fill paper-lined muffin cup until 2/3 full.
4. Bake at 180 degrees of Celsius for about 20-25 minutes.
**I like the top part of the muffin to be a bit brownish and then I glazed it with butter to get the garing + a bit of salty taste. :D
Good luck! :)
